Hi,

Following a car accident I will replace both the head lights on a 2014/15 B8 RS4 Avant. Are there any other solutions available for the head lights, except the standard factory ones? I am thinking about installing Xenon or LED.

I thought the standard headlights were xenon!
HID is xenon

I'd done a bit of research (googled) about the possibility of changing bulbs and getting LEDs. Can't recall the site but the outcome was that aftermarket LED bulds wouldn't be approved and therefore not street legal.

Didn't actually consider a full replacement headlight setup.

Hope the car isn't that bad Kess777 and everyone was alright after the accident.

Thanks both, indeed I now know now that standard is Xenon. Car is being repaired, mostly expensive replacement of bodyparts...
