Alloy Gators

Just had a set of Alloy Gators fitted. Went for the new "Exclusive" ones. Was informed by the fitter that in all probability that these will be the default going forward.
I cannot, at this stage speak for their efficacy. Literally they have been up the drive and back just to park the car. However, they look OK, and in my mind, in Black, do not detract too much from the overall appearance ( in fact, with 20 inch V's, they actually make the car look like it has tyres rather than running on rims).
See what you think.
BTW, not planning on testing them out, and even if you said you had a brand new set of V's, wouldn't be interested. They are there just in case. From a distance, does not seem immediately obvious.
Again, walking past you probably would not notice Up close you certainly would. If you really looked close you would see that there was a gap between the nylon and the rim.
The manufacturer does not recommend you fit to diamond cut alloys, as it can lift the lacquer and lead to corrosion. Bit like hitting a curb, I guess. Me? I will take being careful with cleaning the wheels with soap and water over a rash, thank you.
Will let you know how I get on (and whether the car gets a 50 Shades lashing if/when the glue lets go).
