If the B8 RS4 plastic engine cover is the same as the RS5 plastic engine cover physically? They look exactly the same with just the obvious badge difference. Looking to get a used one to hydrodip and the RS5 ones are a lot cheaper for some reason.

Yes they are. I found a genuine carbon RS5 one for my RS4 and was able to remove the '5' and swap it with my '4'.

I have an engine cover here that I could sell. Only done 4k miles as I changed it out for a Carbon version at great expense because I'm a tart
