Hi,
Has anyone managed to get Apples CarPlay to work yet in the B8? If not with CarPlay is there something else that can do it?

I agree! But can imagine having a 1200 mounted on your dash? Needles are going to be allover the place

Extra arm weight should fix that though won't do great things for life of the vinyl!

The B9 RS4 will have Apple CarPlay at a cost, as with the new Q7 it will be a cost extra.
Official list form apple regarding Audi models that support CarPlay:
2017 A4
2017 Q2
2017 Q7
You will have to spec it as part of the build as the car comes without it as standard.
