I cant help noticing that this forum isn't that busy. Is it just the model of car `sub section` that is quiet ? is this forum global ? is anyone else using another, more active forum in their own respective country ?
Just wondered.....

The forum is pretty busy. I've just moved from a c6 to a b8 and have noticed it's quite quiet here too. Guess it's a newish model so people aren't so keen to play with it.

The B8 is no longer a current model, it's at end of it's lifecycle. So it's naturally going to be much quieter here due to people not buying/chasing/speccing etc.

I find that as the models get older the forums normally get busier as you find people modify more, have more problems and they are generally more enthusiast owned. People tend to want more help with buying used as well.

FYI, I dont browse by forum either as many people tend to post cross platform questions and even model specific ones in the general section so I click the view unread posts button at the top and read anything that sounds interesting (and some that dont) regardless of model.

End of the life cycle in terms of production run maybe, but years of life left on this forum. It'll just keep getting busier.

Yep. Sport mode, genuinely a cm of water on the road and foot flat on the floor. I was expecting to catch the slide, it never came! It was genuinely freaking me out! Amazing traction!

Tempted to go for a spin now the sun is out! :)

Yeah my B7 was great like that. The C7 is a little more tail happy in the wet.

Yer the c6 wasn't that planted. Definitely straight line faster. But much easier to carry speed in b8.

The C7 is planted, but if you floor it on a bend in the wet it will step out for a bit unlike the B7 which would just grip. I imagine it was the same in your C6.
