Hi guys, what a weekend i had, so bought my car around 6 weeks ago after looking for ages for a clean one, I own a Detailing company in Birmingham. So i gave my car a full detail, it then went of to my friend that deals with car security for some upgraded security on he car.

On saturday night went to sleep around 11pm to be woken up at 2.30am and hearing my car and its extra security feature beeping. looked out of the window and see my RS4 and my wife's Audi Q7 being driven of.
Ran downstairs and i could see we had been broken into from the rear of the building and they had found the car keys.

ran after the cars down my road to find the Q7 on the side of the road with the alarm and new security features going off. carried on going and saw the RS4 in the middle of the road also going of. Started walking pass the car and could see the guys still in the car.

So they didn't get my cars because of the new security gadgets i had installed,

but looks like there after a RS4 in Birmingham after reading other treads on here

Been a lot of this going on in B'ham according to Eddie who's son and himself both had run in's, Eddie been held up at gun-point, he's let out information that some slovaks (i think) are paying 5 figure sums to any tom dick and harry who can provide them with high end Audi's/BMW's/Mercs.

So thats why, feel for you man.. glad your cars are ok and i would be very interested in the extra features?

It's horrible to hear it's happened to you as well mate. But all I'd say is it's ok THIS time that your systems have stopped them down the road but my only worry is they now know you have a security system and with this in mind they might be back and I'm not trying to put the frightners up anyone but maybe and it's is only my thoughts they may come back better prepared and next time hold you to ransom till you tell them how to override your system.

My personal situation was they were adamant they'd got the car and they didn't let go of me until the car was started and on the move. I count myself very lucky that I came away unscathed. My Ego is written off but atleast I can look back and think I'm all good and I survived to tell the tale.

My only advise is. In future make sure you sleep with your house alarm on and put locks on all the interior doors so no one can get upstairs to you and your family.

This is my thinking too. Make it too difficult and they'll just up the ante until they get the car. We're dealing with organised criminals here, not chancers.

Sorry to hear this. Seems to be so much of this going on atm. Main thing is you and your family are ok.

I'm from Northern Ireland so not familiar with many cities on the mainland but from what I've read Birmingham sounds like on a par with mos eisley? A absolute <beep> kip?

Brum like all cities has its good and bad areas. But it does seem Brum is being targeted at the moment which is quite surprising as I don't really see that many RS4's on the road here.

Sorry to hear this, must have sucked
What happened when you got to the car with the guys still sat in it ?
I'd like to think I'd be swinging punches, but in reality, I'd probably just sh1t myself and phone the police
