That's cool for a dealer to own and makes the car stand out, but not sure it'd suit a private user.
I'd feel a bit of tit driving around in my car with AUD1 as the number plate, as most Audi's are pretty clearly Audi's, if that makes sense
Not that it's a bad thing, but I've always seen private plates as a show of wealth, rather than personalisation. I had a plate myself on my B7, but it's been sat in my desk as a retention certificate ever since as private plates now just make me think of people with 8 year Range rovers or X5's that just want them to look less old and cheap
Just my own opinion, and if I had a single digit/single number plate, I'd definitely be putting it on my car - Good investment's too at times

The car is from Jardin Motors according to the plate tag so that me be right.
Big car dealership, was Lancaster's from Norfolk who purchased HR Owen etc, based in Hong Kong, very well off car dealers. The plate is an example of there funds available and would probably be an investment, for the right sale and person that's worth a lot of money and will go up in value.
I have had a private plate for 16 yrs, it cost my wife £250 and is now valued at £1850 but I only have it so I can't forget my registration, its been on 8 cars.

There's a quite new RS6 in Skipton with the registration AUD1R. Been better if an 'S' could have been incorporatedl at the end, but obviously not possible.
