Regretful first post

So, long time lurker and admirer of the forum. Sadly my 4 month old RS4 was stolen last night. Daytona grey 0015 JDM stolen from Glossop area. Stolen around 10.15 last seen heading towards Oldham at 12.30am. Family in house and the scum broke in, got keys and drove off. Never heard anything and thankfully everyone safe. Keep vigilant. These are desirable motors.

A car can be replaced, but the trauma/memories of what these scum are prepared to do to get keys if confronted can't ever be etched from your mind. It's easy for me to say, but try to put it down to experience, beef/change up security and be thankful you all slept through it.
Hope your other half/family haven't been too affected by it.

Thanks for the supportive thoughts. It took 20 years of hard graft to get the car and 5 minutes for some scum to steal it. Determined to get another one if insurance play nice. Epic motor in every way. CID reckoned they may have been after a neighbours Q3 parked outside the house as thats the car gangs are stealing at the moment. Ill never know. Hopefully a more positive post next time.

Always in the back of my mind about gits about. what do everyone use on there car for security to help try to stop them. Any one use steering lock? cameras any sign on cars to warn them .
I guess it on boat now hope it all works out for you.

I have cameras, CCTV aware signs. Security lights all round, Disc lock. Cobra trak. I live in a 3 storey house and all interior doors have deadlocks so can't pass through into main house. I always put house alarm as soon as it goes dark. If all else fails. SHOT GUN.
