I've had my RS4 since September last year, love the car. Problem is I don't really need all the practicality of it offers very often and a lovely R8 has turned up at the dealers. Went and looked around the car tonight, was raining and car has only come in, so it was tucked away and filty.

Anyway, the car had an immaculate SH since 2008, it's had a serviced every 3K, with 13K on the clock now. It's got the B&O upgrade, carbon blades and carbon interior pack, not familiar with what other options it has. Immaculate interior too. Price is very good too (£4K less than my RS4 - which I also bought 2nd hand).

I think it probably depends on how the trade in goes to be honest, and then worry about the decision, but really do fancy one!!

I feel your pain.

I'm not planning on selling the RS4 any time soon, but the other side of the garage could be used for something far more useful than some winter tyres and a lawnmower!

Id keep your B8 RS4 over an early V8 R8 all day long, V10 R8 is a different story though, and also a different price league.
If you are looking for a sports car around mid 40k then why not look at a 997 turbo?

Agree about the light carpet and inlays - they HAVE to be dark and carbon respectively.

Yup, the interior above is close to the one I'm looking at, light seats and part of the door cards, but the rest is black and it also has the carbon inlay option. Looks sweet.

£62k will get you into a V10

£45k for the V8 and they've offered me £45K trade in. The decision will probably be made Saturday, taking it for a spin at 10am

£45k for a genuine 13k V8? Bite their face off
