Vossen CV1s

Fancied a change of alloys for the summer tyres so went for a set of Vossen CV1s; square 20x10.5 ET30 (3mm spacer upfront); Pirelli Pzero 275/30r20; these rims are really deep concave! Supplied and refinished in matt black centres with gloss black lip by The Prestige Wheel Centre who were excellent as usual. I understand that the CV1s have now been discontinued from the Vossen range.

Surprisingly, no rubbing at all even with car set 25mm lower than stock and four adults on board; in fact, there is very little compromise in ride quality & practicality from standard RS4 :D

All good then, I take it your on the KW lowering springs then? I have the H&R 15-20mm springs and was worried about the potential rubbing from 275's if I go for coilovers.

Yours looks perfect at that height! :thumb:

Yes, I'm on the KW coilover springs which allow height adjustability but can be used with the DRC. However, lowering is maxed out at both rears and front nearside. I would think that the full coilovers will give a larger range for lowering. BTW, not sure which wheels you are running but the CV1s are ET27 front (including 3mm spacer) and ET30 rear. You could probably go as low as ET25 with the 275s and still avoid rubbing but I would imagine that that is the limit at this ride height.

Very nice look you got there. Maybe that's what has been missing from the B8 for me; lowered with a nice concave wheel.
