I think if Audi could do a in car surveillance camera for outside of car that records when car is parked up. and have a app for phone. I have had been hit four times now and just driven off no letter saying sorry for hitting your car.
if you had a camera that's do the front and back off car and maybe have small camera in side mirrors when hit at side off car and it records number plates then you can go to police.

No reason why you can't fit them yourself. Seem quite popular know and not just for when parked, can record accidents too. Not sure if the police would use the video to prosecute or not though; seem to remember reading this about home CCTV.
