Audi connect questions

Hi. Just picked up my RS4 and thrilled with it
Have been playing with the Audi connect- so far I've got a data sim working well with my iPhone Bluetoothed for calls.
Firstly, does the myaudi app work on these cars? App wants me to enter a login PIN on mmi but can't see a login option
Secondly, is it possible to display album art from an iPod connected to the AMI?
Hope these haven't been covered elsewhere.
Thanks. Bob

"MMI Connect" app is what you want (for an iPhone/iPad, at least). You don't get the same feature set as on the newer models but the option to remotely upload destinations into the satnav is quite useful. It is possible to do the same thing from Google maps on your desktop PC as well, if that sort of thing appeals.
PIN entry is on the MMI somewhere - will look tomorrow if you can't find it.
I think you can get album art with the correct cable (green, maybe, someone will confirm) but haven't bothered to try it myself.

Go to Navigation -> Destinations -> Online Destinations -> Destination from myAudi Account
The first time you do it, it should prompt for the PIN.

Did this get resolved, which lead is required for album art?

4F0 051 510 AD (green grommet) works for me on an October 2014 car.
On recent cars, the dealers sem to have been supplying a pack (4F0 051 510 AF) which includes one of the above and another cable with a USB A socket on the end.
Having said that, I prefer to keep the map on the screen and the phone in my pocket, so it rarely gets used.

The question was regarding album artwork from and IPOD not an IPHONE, I have the pack you talk about, they gave it to me when I collected the car, green ended cable for iPhone 5, Ipod 30 pin cable and USB cale for USB devices.
Waht colour 30pin cable is required to get album art displayed?

The 30 pin cable isn't iPod specific neither is a Lightning cable iPhone specific.
iPad, iPod & iPhone all use the same cables - newer iPads (4th gen and Mini 1st gen), newer iPods (Touch 5th gen and Nano 7th gen) & iPhones (5, 6 & 6+) all use the Lightning connector; but older iPads, iPods and iPhones both use the old style 30 pin connector which is what you have.
Have you tried a 30pin to Lighting adapter with the green Lightning cable?

Red one, I believe, for the older generation 30-pin iDevices.

Snotsicle, Thank you for the information on how to, where to, locate the Pin Entry.

Mine's all operational now.
Very much appreciated.
