God awful rattling / vibration from rear section of headline

My journeys here in Dubai often involve sections of block paved roads. My 2014 RS4 has developed a terrible vibration/rattle from the rear section of the headliner when going over rough surfaces.

Has anyone else suffered from this?

The car is currently at the dealers having this looked at.

I had similar to this a few weeks back. However, on closer inspection I discovered it was the ex-wife locked in the boot. Forgot I'd left her there & she got all grumpy.

She didn't come with a warranty sadly. Should have stuck that in the prenup I guess. You live & learn.

I had a very annoying rattle from the rear seat lock mechanism, was replaced under warranty
Trying dropping the rear seat down to see if that makes a difference

It's at the dealers now looking in to this. It is definitely headliner/sunroof related as the noise can be replicated by banging on the headliner.

Rear seat licking ring for me to, they wrapped tape around it and it stopped, not sure I'm that happy with the solution though

Did you get explanation why ?
Headliner harness with loose connector from antenna or high mount brake light rattling ?

Nothing obvious presented itself when the headliner was removed. The dealer just checked everything was fixed properly and reinstalled the headliner, no rattles now
