I hope I don't jinks it by posting prematurely...
Currently in the last bits of admin, with regards acquiring a RS4, which should be mine come the end of next week. It's from stock (unregistered) so I could not spec.
Please keep the videos and links to reviews coming as it's all I've got until I collect.

Sounds nice, all the blacks with the red callipers to contrast will look pretty mean I think. Did you just strike it lucky & find a cancelled order?

Did You strike it lucky ?
The dealer had access to a choice of three (unregistered cars)
- to be clear it is part of the friends and family scheme of audi - so maybe not wholly public available stock.
what do you drive today ?
I've had a series of decent cars, including 3 * 911's, NSX etc etc however for the last 5 years I've mainly been driving Golf GTIs/R32
I've just changed job and gone from living away from home between 3 and 4 nights a week, having to park on the high street and doing 30k miles a year to........
working 12 miles from home and parking in a gated car park at work or behind gates (in a garage, down a cul da sac) at home. So no more worries about me killing the value of a nice car due to high miles or being woken up by robbers.
Spec is not perfect for me, a bit goo much black....however I can swap it after 6/12 months without to much pain.

Insurance sorted
Flight booked (to collect)
Still some money stuff to sort out.
First drive will be a 230 mile return journey home.
Last time I did this journey, I got stopped by the rozzers for speeding, wife, kids, dog, in the mrs 250bhp, near 3 tonne disco 4.
Wonder if the temptation to speed will be harder to resist in the RS4 ??

At least with the RS you'll be able to outrun them, easily!

The 410 was perhaps a little optimistic to start with. My first two tanks have taken me 520 miles, so pretty similar to yours.

Glasgow Audi ?
I was in there the day after, friday. How did you get on in dealing with them ?
What kind of discount did they offer on a car they had in stock ?
