After 6 months from Order due to Ceramic brake delays, I finally collected my new car this morning from Bath Audi, so I thought I'd share some pics and specs.
I had a few moments of indecision of the the last few months about the colour, but having now seen it, I'm super happy with it.

What state was the RS 5 in?

Bet Martyn was happy to finally have it all sorted with you! Seems to have taken an age.

Misano and black is a great combo and would have been my choice as well.

Not so far. They're very similar in feel to the regular iron discs too
I was given a rather simple bedding in procedure, which i did straight from the dealer

I'm yet to try them in anger though, so we'll have to wait and see

It had 12k more miles on it from when it was dropped it off :)

I think Martyn's glad to finally get the car delivered

How's japan ? Started smoking yet ? Haha

Yep that looks stunning in red, especially clean, great combo with the black optics.
can you notice a different between the standard and ceramic brakes even in the short period of having them?
Just wondered if it was "that" noticeable for everyday driving.

Fantastic looking car, Graeme. Congratulations. Red/black looks stunning and will be even better once you've done the black/carbon mirrors.

I notice you got the Pirellis - with recent deliveries it seems to be pot luck whether you receive those or the Bridgestones.

Hopefully picking mine up middle of next week...

It's difficult to say early on. They feel very similar to the iron discs in general pottering around, which is all I've really done today. There's no noise though, which you sometimes get with ceramic brakes on some of the earlier adopters of the technology
Once it's all run in and bedded in properly, I'll start pushing on in it a bit
I think the biggest difference will be in the way the front wheels track bumps with the big reduction in unsprung weight... And no more brake dust to clean up :)

I had the bridgestones on an RS5 for the last 6 months, and they're decent tyres
According to the dealer, they're all coming on PZeros again due to tramlining issues with the bridgestones, which I personally didn't feel
PZeros are decent though, and I had them on my last b8 for 12-13k miles with no issues at all
