Lowered on H&R's and spaced

Post by RIV » Wed Aug 20, 2014 7:19 pm

Took my car into QST today to have my springs and spacers fitted, very pleased with the service, Kim Collins is a very friendly knowledgable person,he also kindly took me for a spin in his supercharged rs5
This has made my mind up about getting this done to RIV it's an awesome bit of kit, very refined with big progressive waves of torque, anyway I've got some pics

I used H&R springs with a 15-20mm drop with 10mm spacers front and back, the car has no rubbing issues whatsoever, the ride quality is perfect

Looks spectacular. Be interested to know if you had to fit new wheel bolts for 10mm and if there are any issues at all to be wary of (hub damage, vibration etc). Take care parking, those lovely alloys are closer to the kerb now! As a quick aside, did the grill have to come off to fit the black rings?
