Exclusive or not? That is the question.

Hmm, what to do? A fairly sizeable discount is tempting me to go for an exclusive colour.. It seems not many people opt for it? I assume this is due to the excessive cost.. I had convinced myself that Daytona with black optics was the way to go but have always secretly lusted after Goodwood Green..!! I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts! I've seen one in the Chelsea/Knightsbridge area and it really did look great! Also had exclusive tan leather.. But that's getting a bit silly in terms of cost! If I'm spending all this money should I go for what I really want or play it safe? It would be with the black optics, not too keen on all the glitzy ally. The question is, would it look terrible to everyone but me? Would I struggle to move it on?

Firstly, if you go exclusive then you'll be waiting a long time for the car. If that's not an issue, then next colour/finish. Green and tan is not going to fair well. Green alone probably not that well either.

Go exclusive, samoa orange, velvet purple or something. Daytona with optics looks the dogs bollocks, though. I sit 100ft away from one staring right at me everyday when at work.

Go exclusive colour only. Interior not worth it

I couldn't really do something bright and flashy, as I'll be using for work and not the image I want to portray.. Plus I'm a bit boring like that.

Go for green if you like it, looks ok apart from all the silver trim, I'm not a lover of that one bit

I really like the look of that one, but would be better if the steering wheel were on the right side.

Exclusive paint would have taken me from a build in week 15 to week 38!

Was a similar deal for me. I thought long and hard about sports classic grey with brown leather, or keep the black leather and have the dark red metallic or deep purple metallic
All those choices were huge costs and an extra 4months, during which time I'd have changed my mind 9 times

And I only suffered with a decision on a dark blue like Estoril or Mugello

Can only choose Mugello now, Estoril booted into touch.

Shame because I quite like Estoril. All a bit academic though as I went Phantom Black
Exclusive or not? That is the question.

Ditto, it's what I wanted. I then ordered Mugello as no blue was made available when Estoril was dropped. But I had reservations as my last exclusive paint experience, which was not unique, was not a good one. A lot of paint dropped off my RS3. So having Sepang appear that was the best option.

I've heard a couple of 'not positive' experiences of exclusive paints too, although with audi's strict quality control, I'm sure most are fine
Freinds TTRS was twice delayed due to custom paints. Ended up nearly 4 months late after an already very long lead time
