2 day detail+ceramic coat

Post by RIV » Thu Jun 19, 2014 4:59 pm

Dropped my car into refined Detail today for some paint correction and to reapply the ceramic coat to body wheels and callipers, will post up some more pics tomorrow when I collect the car, and some details of the products, not G technic as it's not as great as people think

so what all the hullabaloo about ceramic coating always very sceptical about these types of life shine products claiming to resit scratching
what sort of life span do they have
i have been looking about on the net but limited info just the usual sales blurb

I agree with what your saying, most of the product claims are utter bollocks TBH and everyone believes the hype
The Williams ceramic coat which is on the car claim to last up to five years, I've been told your be lucky if it last 1 year, the product his putting on is supposed to be good for 2 years, I will post some info when I know more

2 day detail+ceramic coat

I've had 2 coats of the new GTECH Crystal Serum topped with 2 coats of EXO, early days I know but seems pretty good. Are you saying it's overhyped, what do you know that we don't?

I don't want to start slagging it off, just been advised by someone that it's not as good as it's made out to be, that's from first hand experience, by a very honest and upfront bloke, guess time will show on your car if its any good

I'll find out, lets hope it last longer than the Williams ceramic
TBH if the cars not a garage queen, I reckon a once year detail to keep it tip top is the way to go :nodder:
