Most stupid driver in the country

Post by fabrs4 » Thu Mar 20, 2014 12:19 pm

Well after a week of owning my car I've managed to put my first (and I pray my last) scrape on the front arch. Completely my fault parking in my own drive, couldn't be more gutted :knob:

Actually did this last night, Thursday being bin day thought I'd keep the car over to the left so i could get the wheelie bin past not wanting to scrape the bin down the other side and scraped the front wing on my neighbour garage. Those flared arches look great but doh my mistake. All ready had quotes £621.31 from Audi paint Shop in Crew ooooh, £300 plus vat from local body Shop. Going to contact a couple smart repair company's later for their views. Will keep you posted. Thanks guys

Do not get a smart repair.....they are <beep>!

If the £300 price from local body Shop is to remove front bumper, repair & paint bumper & wing that is a good price.

You cannot do that repair properly on a drive with the bumper still on the car.

Good luck

At least you were trying to be sensible. I just sold my vr converted mk1 golf last week and the new owner attempted a launch whilst leaving McDonald's off all places and put the car through the rear of his friends car....its not clear yet but there was a wall involved as well and I am duly gutted.

Yours at least was an honest mistake and looks like an easy fix
