Bumper protector at tailgate

Hello
I already own a avant and have RS4 on order, coming June - Oh why so long......
I have a clear plastic sheet bumper protector currently, but i have heard there is a reverseable liner that has a protector flap or something
Does anybody have experience of this and is it any good or should i just get another plastic sheet protector. this has helped prevent scrapes when the kids drag things out
Roll on June - Sepang blue on 20" 5 spokes with black pack

I have it and it's great, doing exactly what you describe. It's double length too so fits the boot with rear seats down and has the bumper flap.....well worth 85 sheets.

Do you have the parts number for this? I didn't order this with the car and now for retrofitting the local Audi dealer can't seem to locate this part for me.
thanks

Is it a change of fitment or just a liner that goes over the existing flooring
I.E. doesn't need to be in the build order

It's just a liner but I was told that it's £85 at order or £200 as a part.

I'm guessing it's not compatible with the load-area fixing kit? If it covers the full boot floor then it will cover the runners.

its a double size piece of carpet the same as the boot that you lay on top to keep the origional clean plus the seat backs when folded down, its also got a flap to cover the bumper and sides inside the boot, where are you based as i have one thats new unused that i wont use as the idear of anything on a dirty bumper doesnt appeal to me as i would rather be carefull than put something on a dirty bumper

I know this isn't the most exciting topic on this forum but does anybody have any good/bad experiences with the aftermarket rubber style liners that go on ebay etc? I like the idea of having something to protect against spillages...

I've ordered this on my new one as I was constantly scratching the bumpers on my last rs4's by loading in bikes or sitting on the bumper in muddy mountain bike shorts
Has anyone got a picture of one they can post as I've not seen one yet and ordered it blind
