Dealer mods and updates

Post by RS4b8NewOwner » Mon Feb 24, 2014 2:27 pm

It's just a thought but I am thinking of asking dealer while they have car and before I get it delivered to ensure they do all the mods and updates available for the car. Does anybody have a list of current items and codes so I can be more precise when requesting. One that comes to mind from reading forums is _

Service bulletin for drc -TPI 2033403/1

The Idea being when I get the car it should be as good as it can be and no waiting around the dealer after delivery.

Thank you.

I'd be amazed if the car didn't have all checks & updates loaded as part of the PDI to be honest.
It's all torque talk.

I'll be honest, and maybe I am just a old cynic, but i'd be amazed if the dealer did anything bar the bare minimum!

I think its a good idea OP, I can't help you i'm afriad as I have no idea on the SBs on the B8, but I wish you luck with your quest!

If I felt that was the service I was going to get when spending circa £60k+ on a car with someone, I'd take my business elsewhere. Hence I refuse to use my local stealer (I rarely call car dealers this, but my local stealer is just that IMO.)
