Typical. Driving home and a branch bounced off the bonnet and I now have an inch long dent on it. Its pretty minor but knowing me it will annoy the hell out of me. Cant see any further damage yet since the car is covered in road salt / mud and its bloody windy outside.
Hope it won't cost a lot to put right

Noooooooo !!!!
That's really bad news mate ....
Maybe a very small dent can be taken out , but my old b7 avant got a bonnet dent and they said there was no way on a bonnet that it could be removed .....ended up buying a new bonnet and re spray.

That'll be a job for Dentmaster, if the paint isn't broken/cracked they will "massage" the dent out (depending on how bad), obviously.

I might be talked p*ss , but it was something to do with the bonding on a bonnet (being the engine bay and all that) that depending on the size of the dent , it couldn't be worked out .....

I was almost home aswell
Funny really, missing about 8 tiles from the roof and half the garden fences are flat and I'm more bothered about the car

+1 for paintless dent removal
I had a small dent from a flying object on my previous B7 and I was convinced it was going to need a fill and respray or even a new panel
PDR guy came around, sucked a bit through his teeth and then proceeded to glue a load of small rods onto the dented panel to which he attached what was effectively a slide hammer to gently tap/pull the dent out. Took him <30mins and cost me £45 + a coffee and you'd never know where the dent was. I was very impressed
