Yet Another RS4 Virgin

Hi All,

I can't believe i have finally bagged myself an rs4. It's only taken me 16 years to get here. It all started with a kingfisher blue A3 (s3 wannabe styling), then an a5 coupe......followed by a b8 a4 avant 2.0 tdi and a b7 audi a4 avant 2.0 tdi quattro 170 black edition. Now for probably one of the most bizarre jumps - from my current Skoda Fabia VRS 1.4 to ordering an rs4 in December....... Quite a leap!

Delivery 1st Week in March and the wait is truly agonising. So here's the spec I went for.

Colour: Phantom Black Metallic.
Standard Spec plus:

Black Optic Styling Pack
Sports Pack with black tail pipes
Piano black inlays
20" V Spoke Titanium Alloys
Standard alcantara/leather super sports seats.
Privacy glass.

Yep, you guessed it. I'm a big fan of black, especially the b8 rs4.

How did you get on with the vRS? Strange the VW Group sell the 2.0 TDi in the Ibiza but never in the Fabia. Would have made a good vRS after the original Fabia vRS 1.9 TDi me thinks

Thanks for the pics AMB. I thought I had found every pic going of black rs4's in anticipation of mine arriving.............

I agree black always looks good on audi's. I will defo be trying to keep it a damn site cleaner than the one in the images.

BTW Your Riv Blue RS4 is stunning. Can I ask what made you part with it?? I think it will become an iconic spec car in the future and prob very sought after.

Love the VRS. It is a 2013 Model and is seriously quick for the money. Feels a bit too unstable at warp speed though. Just hoping I sell it for decent money when the rs4 arrives as I didn't use it as a trade in. Figured I could strike a better deal that way.

I think you are right about the 2.0 TDi but the 1.4 petrol TFi Supercharged and turbo charged engine puts out over 180 bhp so aint too shabby. Surprises a lot of drivers at the lights put it that way
