(sorry £46750)

It a Nov 2012 reg too which means it's not one of those first ones that got driven back to the UK by the press (including Sue Barker!)
(OV62 vs OY62)

Also looking back it was £55k, then £52k.
I suspect the £55k was at three months old.

Is there such a thing as a bad spec on these really? This is £18k cheaper (the price of a decent 911 C4S) than the red one for sale privately and 2/3 of the mileage!
Silver leather is a subjective choice and to a degree the wheels are too - in fact some may prefer the 19s for a better ride..

It was a press car and is Billy basic with silver seats.
What's basic price? £55k? Add 7k miles, 1yr bad spec and press car discount....price is right

Well they thought £55k used was right not all that long ago!
Press car? I thought they were all the OY62 ones from September. Late November reg is a bit late and spec is a bit low.
Press car discount? You want to tell Newbury Audi - anyway they aren't ever called press cars by the salesmen, "demo" covers a multitude of sins

So how much was the £65k car new then? £80k?

By press car, I meant generically, its a paragon fleet car for Audi UK.
By discount, I mean the dealer will have got it for peanuts relatively speaking.
You want to see the landed price of these things to Audi UK!

£90k V8 R8 lands at £56k!!

I am still unsure why this is a bad car. Seats can be changed for under 2K and be a custom colour set up. Wheels can't be much more than 6K. Its been driven by all sorts and packed in a fair few miles as a demo. Is that pretty much it?

It may have had one driver at Audi and a gentle life.
Were they ever on the CC list DK?
The OY cars IMHO are the ones that are more likely to have been spanked.

It amazing how seat colour has such a big effect, it must cost more to make them in silver than dead common black!

Only senior management had them, I.e martin sander had one, but staff cars are not paragon cars (registered to VWFS), they are VWG UK cars registered in MK with reg prefix K_##_ _ _

I like the seats.

Pick up 20"s for £1-£2k.

Its the spec age and miles.

Nothing strange about depreciation.

I guess Broadspeed selling these brand new for under £47k doesn't help residuals.

Sort of 47k, that includes dealer contribution on PCP deposit. And of course you'll get bottom dollar on trade. It's a bit swings and roundabouts.

Pardon my ignorance but is this a Forum where we are allowed to buy/sell cars to each other?

Nope, the selling of cars is explicitly forbidden, crack on the other hand is fine.
