Low balloon value on finance

I have been looking for a good HP with balloon deal and Oracle Finance will only offer £19750 after 48 months doing 5k miles a year.

Seems very low to me, what are other people being offered by Audi?

Cheers in advance.

Hi,
I have arranged finance through Audi Solutions, they worked out to be £23k after 4 years with mileage of 12k per year.

OK, so I got them to increase their Balloon to £23,200 which with a £15,000 deposit leave a monthly payment of £487.71.

How does this compare with others? This is based on a heavily discounted car through Broadspeed with a total price of £53,000.

You need to also look at the total amount payable as well as you pay interest on the balloon payment even though it is not getting cleared straight away.

Yup, have done that. Basically paying £8610.08 in interest over 48 months.

Which is almost identical to the discount available through Broadspeed.

Just curious but why would you want a higher baloon? The mechanics of finance is to get the lowest APR and baloon combined with a slight compromise on the monthly [ayment and then if all goes to plan you at least have some equity in the car at the end of the agreement? If worst case and we suffer another recession / crash then the lower baloon gives you some protection?

+1

I throw in as much cash as I reasonably can to ensure I've taken any hit up front, not left with an asset in negative equity and pay as little interest as possible.

I guess it was just that the first balloon was so very low it seemed unreasonable, but I take your point. I was also trying to push down the monthly payments a bit. The main thing will be to reduce the overall cost of the car. With Sept 1st coming along perhaps there will be some unfulfilled orders ;)

Also considering upping the deposit.

I was told there was a max deposit - I put down £20k and I think that that was the max when they also added the finance contribution.
More worryingly, this current deal only applies for cars registered before 31st December ( I am presuming you are having the Audi solutions). Talking to the dealer this week, my build week was down for 44, so an additional 4 weeks to get to me makes it tight for the end of the year. He then read something else on his screen, sounded concerned and said that he would call me back. And of course he didn't ! Today he was on holiday ! FFS don't they realise they are messing with people's dreams.

Anyway, my point is that you probably need to hurry up if you want to get one on the advertised deal.

Max i was told was 30k deposit, i did 25k down and after 3 years 25k balloon. There was a dealer controbution at that point about £1900 if i remeber correctly, i did phone a few dealers but the price was all the same, just the further south i went the lower the trade price for my old car got.

Test drive both the C63 and the RS4 today.

C63: Nice car but boring (not to drive, but it just felt mundane, it has a tea cup on the dials!) Comfy seats and sounded and drove like a US muscle car but the gearbox was slow and even in manual could not keep up with quick gear changes.

RS4: In love, exhaust sounded so much better than the Merc. The up and down shifts were sublime, I can only image it is what a DTM car sounds and feels like. Especially when you come off the throttle and come down a gear, the overrun is epic. I was ready to order there and then but the dealer would not come close to broadspeed so I will just use them if I can get the right deal.

Has anyone here used them? Does their discount include doing the finance through Audi?

This was my conclusion when I tried the C63

More info on the Broadpeed's discount, it includes the £1,900 Audi contribution for taking finance with them. So if you wanted a cash deal be sure to subtract that from the discount listed.
