Track Days

My 40th next year - my best mate also 40 the month before. We have a small group of mates who we've known for +20 years and we were thinking of a day at a track as a joint event.

We're all petrol heads to a greater or lessor extent and are all lucky enough to be earning ok money.

Looking for a recommendation on a track day that we can book and hoon a few cars around with some instruction and variety of motors. We're London and midlands based and prepared to travel to attend.

A web search throws up loads of options and I always think a recommendation is best.

Thanks for any advice offered.

(PS no <beep> is getting their hands on my B8.....)

Do you want to use own cars or hire?

If its a group then I can really really rate Jonathan Palmer days in Bedford.
interesting mix of cars, stunning instructors and professionally run.
There is nothing anywhere close to it. You actually have the instructors pushing you to go faster as a priority rather than protecting the cars.

Has to be the only choice

As a wise man once said..."if it floats, flies or f*cks - it's probably best to rent it by the hour"
