Just seen an accident on A14, looks like a cyclist (racing) was hit by an Audi Quattro, ambulance was at the scene. There was another Quattro and an 80 Quattro with him pulled over on the hard shoulder. Probably on the way to AITP. Hope all are ok.

Ouch. As a cyclist myself I wouldn't cycle down the A14 even if you paid me....

It was some sort of race. There were quite a few competing when I was on my way AITP. People were having to jump lanes every few hundred metres to avoid them

I think that road's used for Time trialling
Unfortunately, busy roads are popular amongst the die hard TT'ers due to their speedy nature by virtue of getting 'sucked along' by cars and lorries
They have a 100mile TT on the A417 between Swindon and Cirencester and its another fatality waiting to happen (was one last year)

Bloodhell that is sad news...had the same thing on my way up the m1 loads of ford RSs of every kind racing each other ..they were on there way to silverstone..

All the Fords I saw were doing 70 or less!!

There was a old ford Granada this morning, dark brown and slammed. I pulled into the fast lane on the A45 on route to AITP and this thing come flying up, floored it but my jct come and I had my stock or I would of mallard him haha.
