I've had the black leather in my B7 for 5 years and fancy a change to a lighter colour for the soon to be ordered B8 RS4.

BUT...my wife thinks it looks a bit strange having such a stark contrast between the light seats and overall dark finish in the car.

I am set on ordering the leather pack 2 so have the full range of Audi leather colours to choose from. From the pictures I have seen online, the standard option of lunar silver appears to be almost white in the photos I've seen.

I would really appreciate it if anyone can post / link to B8 RS4 photos having any colour interior than black.

Not a lighter colour, but this is the brown exclusive leather from the Goodward display car

The brown is OK. It's the brown vs grey that clashes.

Agreed, it's the downfall of the Audi Exclusive leather scheme on the RS4, if the plastics colours were also revised to correlate/compliment the chosen leather colour you would end up with a homogeneous interior.

As it stands, that brown interior would appear to most people on the street that someone made a mistake by not choosing complimentary additional options, but the truth is that a cohesive exclusive interior is hard to achieve.

I just can't see many of the exclusive leathers sitting nicely side by side with the grey/black plastics,

Not a big fan of the perforated leather steering wheel

Aye but that's monochrome hence it works.

It's the blues, browns and beiges that are hard to make work as above.

Lunar leather and black dash would've been my choice too (on a black/grey/blue car) as it makes a nice contrast inside, but with a 6 year old and a 12 year old and all the general lugging duties my car does, black is the only choice for me

Ha ha, I hear you!

Nothing like the combination of ground up mini cheddars and the insides of a car. Although apparently I am militant. Thankfully child likes three square meals and snacks are for girls.

Graeme have you seen what nano sealant can do these days, its something I am having applied when my car goes in for detailing post having had all the interior leather work replaced and its really not a lot of money either. Heres a link for those faint of heart due to those little terrors they have

I had seen similar products to that before. However, they prevent damage, and I just need it to look clean. No amount of protection's going to stop a melted chocolate button looking like a skid mark on a light leather interior

Ha ha, you'd be thankful for a chocolate skid park as opposed to an actual skid mark!
