I get stopped by a few people in any if the audis wen I out , different types for different cars but I get a lot of envious looks in the 4 , no doubt the b8 lads will but it's not the game changer for me just a tweaking of what went before .
Current toys in the garage
B7 avant in Daytona with ceramics and a few other goodies and lowwwww miles :-)
Ur quattro. lago Blue
Ur quattro. Mars red

Chuck on a charger and it will be game changing.....
Maybe it was hard to improve on a brilliant car other than to give it a nip tuck and modern interior and technology

Mate it's a seven year old RS 4 you own not an Aventador.

We all love an RS car here but get over it and contribute something useful.
Did someone mention Aventador? Savour these for a few...and put your knives down; it's Christmas! ;)

I had a drive of a very generous friend of friends Aventador for a couple of hours once. Was absolutely bonkers and definitely on my list of cars I'd love to own one day
Ironically, once you get past the near £300k price tag, they're supposedly quote cheap to run compared to other cars of similar performance
-------------------------------------------------------
Gone - 11/06 B7 RS4 Avant - black/black (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 05/13 B8 RS4 Avant - Suzuka grey (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 01/14 B8 RS5 Coupe - Short term car
Gone - 09/14 B8 RS4 Avant - Misano Red/Ceramics (Daily drive & kids taxi)

Current - 04/18 B9 Rs4 Nardo Grey
ZX10R Race bike - 210bhp and a few skid marks on the seat ;)

I think for me it's a 'lottery dream'
Gallardo SL is an awesome car with so many really nice little details. Gearbox is a bit iffy, but still a lovely car
Have you seen the pics of the Gallardo replacement ? Now that's a nice looking motor

The Cabrera. Only pics with it in silly camouflage wrap; can't really make out the lines. Comes out mid '14 doesn't it?
The new R8 (based heavily on the Cabrera) a year later?!

Lazy cut and paste 'cos I couldn't recall spelling. It's in caps on the Lambo website. Honest.

Goat / Bull? as you can see I'm following development closely; not.
Like the pics posted by G though, but like is about as close as I'll get; it's Audi or a Porker for me.

+1, a friend of mine has run the Aventador for 18 months with nearly zero costs apart from its drink problem and Lambo have given him a great trade in price for its replacement which arrived a few weeks ago...

For what it is, it is quite civilised in town but it is ballistic on open roads and corsa mode is spin pummelling. And it can return up to 30mpg on a long journey when he came to visit me in Newcastle from London in a little over 3 hours to give you scale of speed. Will be interesting to see if there is any difference in rigidity between this and the coup if I'm lucky enough to get a ride in it.

As for the Huracan, would be good to see if the next gen R8 will get the same 600ps V10 since they are sharing platforms.

And as for B7 vs. B8, the best would be a B8 body, B8 engine and possibly even gearbox, B8 technology, B7 noise and B7 DRC. There is just something about having to press buttons to get a setting just so (and even that may not be achievable) which feels compromised whereas the B7 DRC was how you needed it all of the time irrespective of driving style and conditions. Both are for me torque light and it was a shame the B8 didn't address that even though s-tronic does some to mask the issue
