Well put ... I don't rent either so view stuff with a beady eye ( shakes purse )

In yer dreams. Apparently Audi didn't make the B8 with a manual gearbox because they realised that B8 owners wrists would be too limp to change gear :bigblink: :bigblink:

Don't think that was in Audi's thoughts when they designed the B8. Apparently the auto box was intended to free up the driver's left hand so they could activate the "comfort mode" more easily when they pluck up the courage to overtake and hit those damned white lines in the middle of the road.

Bumders? No B7 owner would be as rude

Can't dispute that - they'll be right in front giving you a tow to complete the manoeuvre :biggrin3:

I own a B7 Avant, best car I have owned, no doubt, do I want a B8? Hell yes!!!

The tech, the standard sound, the gear box, so it may not look as balls to the wall but, let's be honest our B7s are aging!

I want this one

but with optics

And I want to keep my B7. And mod it

Incorrect fella.

It was to free up the left hand to either a) perform the w@nker sign b) have a w@nk, c) flick "the bird" or d) politely wave at the B7 driver next them at the lights just before doing a "launch" and leaving them a) wishing they actually had 414 BHP, b) had recently had a "de coke" or c) weren't just out of the 5 year DRC warranty just before the knocking started again…..

Sorry but I couldn't resist……..I had a B7 (369 BHP) and loved it to bits but come on, move on :bigwave:
