Your about bang on there, the engineers that developed the b7 were poached not long after, and that is exactly why the b8 nor any other recent RS has been dynamically any good.if you don't or can't drive the b8 to its full potential then yeh it won't bother you,but some can and would hence it's not the next car for me.technology is a nice to have but not a major factor when selecting my choice of road weapon, all round capability and performance all year round on britains tosh roads is the decider for me.ive had a good drive in a mates on one of my fave roads and could buy one today if I chose to but.....I won't.R8 or new Rs6 when it's price has settled as I buy not rent and couldn't stomach the monthly loss I think I would cry.

Someone on the hairdressers B8 forum casting aspersions on B7 owners sexuality? That's a bit like Julian Clary claiming that Arnold Schwarznegger is more gay than he is!

LOL hairdressers!

That term can only be used for TT owners or RS 4 cab / R8 Spyder or RS 5 cab drivers

Bam, add it to the rules

What we should do is all go to a meet in our respective cars, the stand side by side and have a C*ck off, then bring our dad's along, have all them stand back to back to see who's dad is the biggest, then get our sicker albums out to see who has the most shiney's, then count out our micro machines. Once we've done this, we can all go to McDonalds for a Happy Meal before heading home for a nap, after all, it will have been a long day!

Long & the short of it is, the B8 i have on order will be the best car I have owned up to this point, current B7 owners, this is possibly true for you too, and thats the thing, if you like it, keep it until something you like better comes along.

Now, I've got 2 Terry Butcher Shiney's and an Aberdeen Crest Shiney, I'll swap Aberdeen and a Butcher for a Chris Woods...

Anyone?

Don't bring Bruce into this saftness. Who cares what car is best, just buy what you want. We all know the C5 looks the best, who cares about the drive?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
