I've just got a quote from the online Audi system for full component cover with less than 10K miles PA and a £250 excess and its £1600 per year. For no excess its £2569 per year.

Just need to find a car registration that's outside manufacturers warranty as the system wont allow you to quote if you use a registration that is still covered by manufacturers warranty. I used LG13 WTJ as its the first one I found on PH. I'd be really interested in know the full details of the cover for £800 as I'll need to decide if I want to stick or twist soon.

I just extended the original Audi 3 year warranty when it ran out. It was registered by Audi in November 2012 and I bought a dealer's demonstrator in May 2013 - no waiting! Apart from picking my excess and mileage those were the figures it came up with.
