Lovely Jezzer, chose well when ordering that. I like it a lot.
Could you try and get a side shot showing the front brakes without the arm of the alloy in the way.

Misano RS4 taken to Heavenly Detail in Maidstone last night. Thought the paintwork was prepared well by Audi until I saw it under a Sun lamp. Looked like Audi had used sandpaper instead of a drying cloth.
Anyway the paintwork is taking shape and the correction detail is now showing great results.

Marc is a legend in the detailing world and I have used him for many years with great results.

I recently took delivery of an RS6 C7 and was considering doing something like this to protect the paintwork, but wondered how good these products really are? Especially the Xpel Vinyl Paint Protection. I live near Cambridge and may be interested in using the people in Peterborough. However, surely Audi would not supply a car that had paint that would not be stand up to normal wear and tear. Do these products really extend the life and make the car look better, or is just as good to clean and polish once a fortnight on the OE finish.
Advice please
PS, my colour is Estoril Blue

You'd have thought they would, but new paint hardens properly over a few months to a year and stones and road conditions seem to be getting worse
Saying that, I've never bothered with paint protection, but a quick look at the front of any of my cars would show you the benefits of the systems as mine get littered with stone chips

I think I will investigate further

In my opinion this product is worth every penny. I don't do a lot of miles in my car but getting stone chips can happen at anytime and for me when they do it really spoils the look of the car.

I recently sold my BMW 1M with this product fitted when new and the car did not have one mark on the paint and due to the condition of the car I sold it for far more than the average price these normally go for. I also have the finish to help make it easier to look after the car especially with flies hitting the front and the problems with bird droppings and the damage this does to the clear coat. Swirl marks and light scratching to the vinyl also disappears with hot water.

My car is fitted with the latest generation 2 product which really enhances the shine of the paint. You literally cannot see the product on the car it is that well fitted. They have now fitted the product to 11 McLaren P1s.

Anyone that wants to see this fitted to my car is more than welcome to come and see.

Thanks Jezzer, usefull info.
Would you get this product put on top of OE paintwork, or does it need to be treated first?
Actually, its prob better to give the guys at Peterborough a bell. I will look out for your gleaming car, I am around the Hertfordshire/Cambridge area
