I suspect you're right, they will have to be poked.PetrolDave wrote:13+ years of Audi ownership tells me that your confidence in Audi UK rolling out a software update is likely to be misplacedchurchwa wrote:Sure it is just a software update that will be rolled out in due course.
Tried pretty much everything I could find on the web in order to get it working via the phone, including purchasing http://www.android-rsap.com/, but no joy at all and a refund from Android RSAP as they said there were known issues they could not deal with, seechurchwa wrote:Odd as the HTC one x supports Sap BT profile so you should not need a sim card, just use your phones data?andymcg99 wrote:I tried using a GiffGaff data SIM and my HTC One X to see if I could get a successful result using the SIM for data and Phone for Voice etc, but no luck and never got either of the screens shown above with the 2 x signal strength indicators
I had my May 2013 B8 RS4 into the dealer yesterday for them to investigate the problem, I'm on MMI Software version _PO620 and had hoped to get an upgrade to PO660 to see if that solved the problem. They confirmed the problem and raised it on the Audi UK Tech call today, the result was that the problem has been solved in MY2014 cars, (didn't say whether hardware or software), and they have no planned fix or upgrade path for 2013 cars
After paying £350 for the High Phone Prep with Connect, got to say am pretty annoyed that it doesn't work fully except in pretty limited configurations
Off to call Audi UK
iOS7 appears to have changed the behaviour on A2DP connections - I had exactly this problem after I applied the iOS7 update to my iPhone 5 with the Alpine INE-W925R in my Citroen C1 run-around. Fortunately Alpine had released a firmware update last month that solved the problem.Graeme4130 wrote:However, since updating the phone to IOS7 last week, I don't seem to be able to do it
Anyone else had this problem ?
I had the same issue, after updating to IOS7 I couldn't skip tracks when set up through Bluetooth. I disconnected the phone switched it on and off, then reconnected back to Bluetooth and it's all working fine again.Graeme4130 wrote:Sorry to deviate a bit from topic, but I listen to MP3's through my iPhone 4S via Bluetooth on my stereo in my car. I've previously been able to move on from one track to another via sideways clicking the cars volume button

Argh, the old IT 'log off/log on' answer to all issuesPid wrote:I had the same issue, after updating to IOS7 I couldn't skip tracks when set up through Bluetooth. New Iphone 5s seems to have sorted this issueGraeme4130 wrote:Sorry to deviate a bit from topic, but I listen to MP3's through my iPhone 4S via Bluetooth on my stereo in my car. I've previously been able to move on from one track to another via sideways clicking the cars volume button

All rather predictable. I am still awaiting a response.andymcg99 wrote:Audi UK came back to me, said they had looked into the issue and there was no planned fix for MY 2013 cars, the problem exists in anything built before Week 22 2013, mine was shortly before that. The Customer Service team could still not confirm whether the fix was hardware or software. They offered to refund the cost of the Audi Connect High Bluetooth module, which will cover the cost of a Samsung Galaxy 4 (has native rSAP support and therefore should solve the problem). Not happy that this is the only route forward, but willing to give it a try short term and see if I get a usable data/voice connection.
I wasn't, is it any good before I faff about with iTunes downloading itmatthew.lewis2 wrote:Just a quick heads up....For those with iPhones were you aware of the Audi connect music stream app on iTunes?
I have absolutely no idea yetGraeme4130 wrote:I wasn't, is it any good before I faff about with iTunes downloading itmatthew.lewis2 wrote:Just a quick heads up....For those with iPhones were you aware of the Audi connect music stream app on iTunes?
Hey Andy, where are you at with this? Did Audi come back to you at all? I'm in the same boat with my MY2013 car & the dealer has said there is no solution, but I don't see how it can be fixed for MY2014 cars. I am guessing the cost of replacing the HU is not something Audi are willing to consider....andymcg99 wrote:Audi UK came back to me, said they had looked into the issue and there was no planned fix for MY 2013 cars, the problem exists in anything built before Week 22 2013, mine was shortly before that.
