Thanks - It's been torturous waiting since May - hope its as good as I think it is!!

Also worth speaking to Broadspeed rather than just going by the web price as when I spoke to them they were receptive to doing a deal. Good luck and I hope you get a good rate!! I searched and drove quite a few cars before settling on the RS4 - was the only option I would have to wait for but despite some average reviews from some quarters was the best test drive I had!!

I'd imagine the £46862 that Broadspeed are advertising these cars for is less than B7's went for back in the day ??
Seems strange that dealers are saying you can't get one till spring 2014 whilst brokers are selling them with such big discounts.

I pick up my RS4 from Maidstone Audi on Sunday morning (can't wait!!) - ordered it in May. Found the sales guy really accommodating, spared me all the cr@p and bettered the Broadspeed deal without too much persuasion. I did the honourable thing and went back to Broadspeed but although they were really helpful they couldn't match the Audi deal - so order placed with Audi Maidstone. As above sales guy really looked after me - knowledgeable and knew his stuff.

My car was delivered to Maidstone last week, so tortured myself by going to see it, got speaking to the sales guy - he reckoned an order now would not be delivered to late spring 2014... He said there had been a surge in RS car orders - not sure why the surge, but the upshot was they wouldn't be so keen to discount. Probably been helped by BMW ending M3 production??? Perhaps???

I had no part ex, went on the PCP deal (was the best option by far) - I spec'd a reasonable amount of options (£5.5 - £6k) - did the deal at circa £8k discount, this was better than anything Broadspeed could do at the time.

As above this was a May order so obviously things within Audi may have changed since then - so discounts may not be as easy to come by. Worth also mentioning my car had already been ordered by Audi when I ordered it but I was able to change spec to suit my preferences.
Look toward to the pics. What colour and spec did you go for ?

Prism Silver
V Spokes
Sports Pack
Convenience Pack

Black Pack
Hill Hold
Keyless

Privacy Glass
Reversing camera

Regret a few not ticking some of the other boxes but was getting carried away...

It's polarised opinion a lot recently, but I think a lot of 'testers' in the press are looking for a dynamically super sharp car that can be driven on the edge all the time and throw in a few track days. However, the reality is that most of us use our B8's for pottering around and fast a-b journeys whete we want the security of 4wd and the closest most will get to the track is taking the kids to silverstone for the day
I do 20k a year in mine dragging my mountain bike around, taking the wife shopping and various kids football matches etc, and it works perfectly for that with the occasional blast and ability to safely overtake a string of cars at will

I bought mine a cooper S countryman last August to try and get her to drive a bit (had a licence for over ten years, but never drove even though she cost me 5 failed tests on god knows how many lessons) and it's currently on around 2k miles, half of which I did in it. She's like driving miss daisy, so as soon as I get a pace on, I get called a knob ! Haha
Considering she's 33, it's like being in the car with my mum !! Haha
Anyway, she has her good points and hasn't yet asked how much I spent on my RS4 :)

Ha ha

Mine still thinks I spent more on her TT than the Lotus in 2008. There wasn't much in it but the lotus did cost maybe a grand more.

I've just pipped her by about the same amount on the Audi this time too...

Don't even get me started on my wife's idea of the costsof the 10 or so bikes I have in the garage :)
