The only company to sell here is TRD in Gloucestershire any one got one and what you think off it.
The system comes with valves like original and still function from the driver select, costing £2450.00 inc vat and fitting with the option of an additional x-pipe costing £258.00 for more sound.

The system quality is far superior to any system available in the UK and the sound will be unique

I presume the dealer is talking about a miltek lol

It's certainly pure speculation to say it's 'better' than a JCWF or Akrapovic system!

I don't like the concept of a titanium exhaust (which rules out the akravovic) because although lighter (who cares on a 2 ton car?) it's more fragile and life expectancy is reduced. I have a JC Weldfab system on now, and it's back with them this week for final tweaks before their system is available to the public. What I can say about JCWF is the research and development they've put into my system is staggering - tweaking the slightest thing here and there to get it perfect. The material used is the best available, the quality of the welding is second to none, and the fit will be perfect on every car - as they're made to the car, not mass produced like other systems. I honestly can't speak highly enough of them.

I had a miltek on a previous car. The JCWF is in another league entirely. It's almost rude to compare them in quality. They are doing some videos etc of my car whilst they have it this week I think so as soon as they're available you'll be able to hear it :)

Interesting about materials used. Have they moved up from 304 now then?

I looked at the HMS system before I opted for Capristo and at that time their lack of market share in the UK pretty much made me choose to go elsewhere. From what I can see it hasn't changed despite it being an appealing product.
It's all torque talk.

A don't know about you smudge but I think my capristo is amazing quality and sound and I'm sure jc have made a decent job of your exhaust Ross but does it have type approval ? Guess it's all subjective we all know millteks systems adopt a patina very early on and aren't the best in quality but this poll is almost farcscical as Ross is the only b8 owner with one of these systems but a majority want to own one ? I don't get it when no ones really heard one ! Agreed akrapovic is too expensive but capristo are middle market almost milltek money and probably jc weld money ! And I'm sure they poured as much money into R&D as anyone the blips on the downshift are amazing and there's zero drone in any gear at any speed and it went on in minutes fitted perfectly it may be a mass produced system but it's a mass produced car

Saw your car this morning Ross, bit dirty hey....

The welds are top notch I must say, looking at it you would not know its after market, I even like the temp Tail pipe that's on there and how that's welded together.

Hopefully not being razzed down the road :jump:

Yeah filthy. It's done 300 odd miles since being washed. Apparently through some sort of radioactive fallout mixed with dirty roads! It's no looker at the moment!

It was on the ramp in the Air with a go kart thing parked under so doubt it was moving anywhere. Had to have a nose while under there lol. I saw it when it 1st went there and was clean as under there. When it's back you need to put your lift to use and clean underneath haha
