How has it been speccd when the price list as not yet been published?

Not only that but is still has not been type approved (according to my German Audi nut friend who also wants to order one)!

Guy told me they have sold the 4 cars they have been allotted (main dealership) but obviously chances of him being full of it are quite high.... Personally not been keeping up on the details so didn't realise all the specs are final yet

When I worked for BMW we had 5 people put deposits down for the E60 M5 a year before it was released with no details on spec or prices. Oh to be rich lol

I have a deposit on one but have not been able to spec one so haven't a clue how much it will be

On the Audi Ireland website the price is pretty much the same as an RS5 though it doesn't say what the standard spec is etc. In Ireland, thanks to death to the 'rich' tax policy that means it costs €103k. Could be worse I suppose, a V10 R8 costs €230k .

It's just not special enough for me. I'd have taken an RS5 if the drive package tickled the fancy. I'll take a peek at the C7 RS6 when it arrives.

How did u get a £ price? U cantjust apply a euro exchange rate. It doesnt work like that

yes just exchanged the rate so not very acurate but it must be a ball park figure lets see if it's on the UK site on Monday
just spec'ed up an RS5 with all the extra sport diff and dynamic ride anve buckets came in at 67k so tat could be a fair comparison i would think it would be around the same basic price but ets see might be able to stretch to that

So, you spec'd up an RS 5 and it came in 10% cheaper than your simple conversion

And the A5 holds a premium to the A4 so doesn't take a genius to work out which is the closer figure

And 10% difference is more than ball park

Not only UK basic price but also UK spec

I went on ebay.de and I can't see a black optics kit and it seems the seats come in half leather half ancantara as std

Also interesting to see what 'packages' are on offer

There are people called Product Managers at Audi UK that do this...they negotiate price, spec etc with the factory specifically for the UK market ensuring its is placed appropriately in the competitive marketplace I.e C63, M3, RS 5 etc

It is not simply a case of Audi AG setting a price which is converted from euros to pounds

going on the prvious price hike from B5 to B7 47k standard to 51k i think so 56k for the B8 would seem to follow suit but lets see
yep notice no black optics pack on the germany site and make sence what your saying about negotiating prices for UK
