So I got my quote from Jack Barclay today. £344 incl vat for an inspection and oil service (price includes oil and filter). I think (based on the above) that's pretty good.

Question - should I put aftermarket panel filters in? Will I hear/notice any difference ?

Had my S1 into Audi on Saturday for a service (its last free one with Audi) and asked them about the RS4 oil prior to it's next service. Service tech didn't even bat an eyelid and said yep loads of people bring their own oil. as long as it's the right spec we will use yours.
