I changed them myself bought some more second hand cats got them straight piped the drivers side was a bugger to get undone because of the space tho

MRC say it's an engine out job on a b8.

It can be done without for sure. I know of someone else that has done it without having to remove the engine. It's just fiddly as funk I believe....
