As new orders are no longer possible there's going to be more posturing. Going to be a case of right dealer right time.

Suppose I only found out yesterday orders had stopped... Had no idea and tbh was hoping towards end of this year there would be some 0% deals like the M5 so hadn't been looking just so happened I logged in here and it's knocked my bum into gear to sort it out.

Going on holiday end of June so would have been nice to have a boot lol

I thought about trading in performance stuff recently. I know someone who has and he shifts 6-7 cars a week. Not a bad little racket on the side. If you know your selling pukka kit then you should be ok.

They're not my local; Southend is. They ( for me ) where absolutely rubbish. Went to Southend to look at an S3 then saw an RS4 in the showroom and the salesman wasn't even interested in showing it to me!

I had a simular experience at my local dealer Norwich Audi "Robinsons Motor Group", I walked in to knowing exactly what I wanted to buy, I knew the model, spec and all the extras, I had used the configurator and all they had to do was punch the code in. I was buying cash with no trade in, its would have been the easiest sale in the world.

I went in unshaved and scruffy just cos I was on a day off, I wandered around the sales floor for 40 mins browsing at cars, sitting in them just for fun while I waited for a salesperson as they were all busy. I was finally asked by the front desk staff if I needed to speak to anyone and I told them I wanted to buy a car so they told a sales guy I was waiting, he became availbe as the customers left he went and got himself a coffe and sat down at his desk while I still waited....and waited...and waited while I watched him, then he dissapeared. I ask the lady who had approached me earlier bearing in mind I had been the over an hour now and asked if anyone was going to help me, she said I she'll find out and went to find the slaes guy, she came back and appologised as he had gone to lunch, she asked if I could give some details and she'll get someone to give me a call, as you can imagine I wasn't happy, i told why i was there, explained the reason for being there and showed her the configurator spec etc. and then informed her I'd go to another Audi dealer and would not be back, she was not suprised and appologised, i did leave my contact details.

I went to Bury St Edmunds Audi the next day on a recomedation and was treated like long established customer, while I waited I had a quick cup of tea made for me and then I was introduced to a great slaesman, epxerienced and he knew his products.

I ended up spending almost £60k on an RS4 in the exact spec I wanted, while I was doing the deal I was clled by the Norwich salesman who had misse dthe oprtunity and I gladly told him I had just spent a large sum of money and a car at Bury becuase he ignored me at Norwich.

I would not recommend Norwich Audi and would highly recomend Bury St. Edmunds Audi, there after slaes is just as good, 1st service was a dream.

Every dealer have their good and bad apples. Seems they need to get more training in professionalism and product knowledge for that matter.

Halesowen Audi sorted my deal out in the end. Junction 3 on the M5 which isn't a million miles from you. There stock was limited though when I placed my order so not sure if they would have a new one in the pipeline
