Apple Car Play

So looking through search, there seems to have been a couple of options to install Apple Car Play.

Just wondering what the most user friendly one has been for day to day use and installation?

Think they all seem to be pretty similar. I’m not brave enough to do it myself, and the cheapest I’ve seen it is £500 which feels a bit steep. I had it retrofitted in my 335 for £100, but the software as already there I think. It wasn’t much of an upgrade though as the standard MMI was decent enough.
