Having some fun with a Bently Continental GT

Post by Johnsmith » Mon Jul 04, 2016 11:19 am

So I was driving back from a day out on the motorway and a Bently GT 2012 was behind me, I thought mmmm not the ideal place to have one behind me given they are a monster in a straight line. As far as I'm aware under the hood they usually have a big v8/w12 turbo charged or super charged. I thought dam should have got the RS6 but we had a play and swapped over as I wanted to see how fast it really was compared and I was shocked to see were dead even, in fact I was two up and he was one I thought for sure I was going to have my a$$ handed to me, but the RS4 surprised me once again and stays undefeated.

Top guy in the Bently as usually we exchanged the mutual respect nod and thumbs up as we departed.

An RS4 is heavy but a Bentley is F**KING heavy! a rolling straight line drag race pending traction is always going to be BHP/Tonne related so if it was only a baby Bentley im not surprised you kept pace :assflash:
Sprint Blue B7 RS4 - Black/Titanium optics, Anthracite OEM 19's, De-resonated OEM Exhaust, TTRS FBSW, MRC Stage 2 De-flapped manifold, Full Carbon Clean, MRC Stage 2 Re-map, 431.5 BHP...... must...not...spend....more...

That's why you need to stay in front of it John, cos the Bentley will plane the asphalt off down to the sub base ! :assflash:

Had a play with one to a few months ago in an M5 E61. M5 was quicker but the funny thing was when he pulled up along side me at a round about and a second later, smoke from the brakes was billowing out lol.. he didn't look too happy.
