Yes, prior to finding a place 2 weeks ago. No, I wouldn't have been confident but I am now. This place has invested well over £50k in equipment and the local main dealer group are starting to send all their premium car wheels there such as Bentley, Jag and Range Rovers for that sort of finish. They've also just done my wheels and mirrors in OEM L8AU Titan and were great.

I just pray that Mica Blue car has DRC, is in good nick and stacks up. If so I could be calling up Neidfaktor for a black RS6 style honeycomb interior and then trying to get my ass up to the NC500 8)

Sam you have moved me to login for first time in an age. The mica one was mine. It is in fab nick. detailed often and garaged tucked up in it tailor made cover. I shifted it as my miles have dropped and wanted to put miles on the RS5 cab over these hopefully sunnier weeks we have ahead. theres no DRC. I chose it for its great spec (for me) and specifically because no DRC due to all the noise about clunking we all see on here. Have RS6 on order (week 24 build). Would love it in Ross's colour but alas the extra wait for exclusive colours is too much for me! Good luck tomorrow with the search.

Peter, thank you for taking the time to log in and reply.

It looks a lovely car which I'll continue with seeing, the colour really does strike a chord for me. With you confirming it's a non DRC variant, it does however put the brakes on purchasing that example. Shame.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the RS6 when that arrives. Did you buy the Estoril Blue RS5 they had there?

No Sam. I picked the 5 up new from Wimbledon last July - saw it in showroom and was smitten. Thus the 4 got used less. After 9 months with the pair of them one had to go. Happy hunting. It is all part of the fun!

Ok, I used to visit Gerry's of Wimbledon for fishing supplies, but never Audi when living near that neck of the woods.

I enjoy the chase, but right now I'm 7 cars into my search with the last involving a flight to Edinburgh, where upon I found out the car was a Belgium supplied parallel import.
