Ive just fitted summers to today whilst RS was in for service. Got a good price for Michelin PSS's - £930 delivered from Tyreleader in Germany and got Audi dealer to fit them. Only negative about Tyreleader is their communication about shipping dates is sh1t and only way of getting in touch is via a web form.
Still, all fitted and enjoying PSS's... Are a revelation after winters for past few months

We just need someone to offer a group buy price on Pilot Super Sports. I'm urgently in need of a set but they're so damn expensive I'm hesitating!

I would take the Conti contact 5s over Pilots. Had Conti 5s on my F80 M3 and S3 and really good in the wet though a bit noisy. Had plenty Pilots too but never as sure in the wet though you might shave a fraction of a second on the track with them but ill take everyday use with crappy wet roads as barometer.A lot of people go on about
the contis or pilots but in tyre reviews it seems that contis are better in the wet and pilots faster in the dry so you pays your money.....
Both good tyres IMO.
Conti 5s and Pilots are both now supplied as OE on M3/M4s

Good info :)

My preference is an all out dry tyre over a wet tyre however. If I could get an AD08/595 or R888R in my size I'd have them in a heartbeat. Not that interested in wet performance as I track the car a fair bit. Hence the love of PSS's.
