When it was working

Bizarrely, the TVR I had was one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned
I'd leave it in the garage all winter on an accurate charger and it'd start first time on the key every year
I know of a few other guy that haven't been so lucky though and I've seen plenty of bits fall off them over the years too

Owned a TVR for 9 years and it only left me on the roadside once - but that was during an incident involving a bit of snow and some sideways action...

I've owned 3 TVR's and the only time I got stuck was when the throttle cable snapped on my Tamora and a nice bloke from the RAC came and got me back on my way within a couple of hours. Did a decent number of miles between them all and had some great times before some uninsured crack head T boned me on a country road.....

Had a chimaera 500 for s few years and it only let me down once when I left the lights on outside an office and flattened the battery after about 10hrs.
I saw a guy in a Cerbera open a window at high speed once and his rear window popped out on the road behind him

Had a 4ltr Chimaera and did 16k miles in 18 months, never missed a beat. All I did was add copious amounts of fuel, service it, have fun and buy a few sets of bridgestones. Biggest issue was parking it with the roof down and returning 10 mins later to find a vagrant p-----g in the back, never smelt of fibreglass again though...
