Morning, yes for me I wasn't expecting much in power but it was all about increasing the Torque, very pleased with the DMS remap, and more importantly DMS themselves they came out to the house and fitted it for me in a morning, when I asked them to remove it they came within a few days and took it off etc... (which they will do for as long as I keep my car). I am going to book it in to their facilities and have it put back on and tuned to the Akrapovic (which they are dealers for) and get in on the rolling road to see what the stats are. Will post a copy of this once I have it.

Thanks for the response N7BSE,

Look forward to seeing the before and after plots.

Could I ask why you had it removed?

Also do you know if its a custom map for the Akropovic exhaust?

I was thinking of going Milltek, which is about 40% of the price, if I had the spare coin would prob go Akropovic.

We don't have many B8 RS4's in Aus at the moment (they are growing in numbers though) and any mod advice is greatly appreciated.

No it's a standard Map to work on the car as standard, and then if you choose a full exhaust system they can map it to that exhaust, if your just replacing the rear box then the standard map is fine. I asked them to take it off, as been having issues with random Throttle response (revving to 1500-2000 RPM when coming to a stop in traffic. I wanted to check it was nothing to do with the DMS map (which it's still doing) and therefore book it in to be looked at by Audi under warranty.

N7BSE: 'been having issues with random Throttle response (revving to 1500-2000 RPM when coming to a stop in traffic'

I had a similar thing happening on my RS5 when slowing in traffic - only seemed to happen in 'Auto' setting, not in Sport, Individual (sport gearbox setting anyhow) or Comfort. I mentioned t to Audi - they replaced Cam Position Sensors, Metatronic unit & clutch pack under warranty - seems to have solved the problem. Hope you get yours sorted.

What I do know is that the ECU records any changes to it and this can be seen by the dealer should they go looking for it when you've had it reverted.

Worth remembering that although you can always change it back, if the dealer suspects foul play, they can be your best mate or worse enemy

Not that i am going down this rout again as it was a lot of money for small gains on the B7 must interested as above the rout the tuners will take with the ECU

next will be a charger or an R8 when the time comes
