Think you are right.

Been up to see M4 and M3 this afternoon...looks lovely but sounds pants and two they had were £62k with not many options...so basically ten k more than my RS...If was going to get one would wait till next year when they will be doing deals once initial demand has been satisfied.

True, but your car will be a year older with more miles so will have depreciated more by then, too. Swings and roundabouts.

Thing is, if you want to play cars, is going to cost regardless. As my good wife has said, better a car habit than a drug habit. Can only spend it once.

A big plus of the rs4 is that the missus approves and drives it quite happily...just needs better turn in and then we both happy!
