Yunno buckets are actually only £1445

As you have to pay £300 for heated seats and £400 for full leather anyway on the Supershite seats and you get both as standard on the buckets

I've been playing around with spec

I recon I could do without everything except 3 options

Black optics
Ceramics
Buckets

And that's £7k of options

It's a heavy car, And whilst the stock brakes with Ferodo pads and updated fluid are fine as my RS5 round the ring proved, they won't last long.

Buckets are a must else you've got the same seats as the S4!

That seems a bit steep, could your dealer not pull a few strings and get it for the standard upgrade cost
It seems unreasonable to expect an order modification to carry such a penalty

Is the £2k dealer contribution fixed ? Is it at the discretion of the dealer?

I am aware Audi are offering £5k deposit contribution but is the dealer contribution of £2k at their discretion or has Audi instructed dealers to put that into and deals offered?

The deal is the deal, so yes that includes the 2k, which is just paperwork anyway. Don't really understand what you're getting at to be honest!

From my understanding the 2k comes from the dealers margin, the 5k comes from VWFS. All dealers would have to contribute 2k as that's the standard audi deal. The dealers margin is a lot more than 2k however. I think that I've read previously that it is in the region of 14%.

I'd be aiming to get anywhere between 8-10% discount (pre VAT), plus the 5k deposit contribution from Audi, which would make a £60k car in the region of £49-50k.
