I'm pretty sure audi's contribution is way higher than thatchurchwa wrote:More info on the Broadpeed's discount, it includes the £1,900 Audi contribution for taking finance with them. So if you wanted a cash deal be sure to subtract that from the discount listed.

Re: Low balloon value on finance
OK, well I am happy to be corrected, just going on what I read on this forum and what my dealer told me. This is Audi finance doing the contribution.
Re: Low balloon value on finance
You can try and get extra contrbution from the dealer.

Even after they have given £6,900 off already? They only make 13.5% on these cars meaning a profit of approx. £7425.

No harm in trying. I always manage to get more off than what they say.churchwa wrote:Even after they have given £6,900 off already? They only make 13.5% on these cars meaning a profit of approx. £7425.

Which dealer do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
Re: Low balloon value on finance
Dealer car sales are a law unto themselves.
I've bought cars near the end of the dealers financial year and was given a "too good to be true offer". Turns out that the dealership had hit it's revenue and profit targets as dictated by the manufacturer but were short on actual car numbers. Hence they really were not that bothered about the profit on the specific car compared to hitting the targets.
Also dealers will sometimes play the long game - total cost of ownership usually results in any shortfall made after the original sale. So a good discount to a buyer likely to return for any aftersales work can be good for them too.

Re: Low balloon value on finance
I have be informed by my Audi dealer that there are no targets for RS4's and they don't add to their sales targets so they have no incentive to shift them unless they have been in stock too long.
I guess it is worth calling around and trying to push for a deal.

I have used Maidstone, Bristol and Bath. I live in Bristol. I phoned every dealer in a 150 mile radius to get the best deal on my old S4; Maidstone came out on top.churchwa wrote:Which dealer do you use, if you don't mind me asking?

No decent negotiator is going to let you know their targets or deadlines. They'll lay the land in a way that makes you feel you're special and that they've no rush to sell

I've used Martyn at Audi bath and found him to be pretty decent in terms of minimal 'sales b0ll0cks' and decent negoNickyboy wrote:I have used Maidstone, Bristol and Bath. I live in Bristol. Re: Low balloon value on finance
Interesting how Maidstone Audi, who are apparently the Broadspeed dealer, wont match Broadspeed. They are thousands off, having said that their balloon is massively higher at £26,100.
The search continues.

Re: Low balloon value on finance
Thought now would be a good time/thread to say hello...
I pick up my RS4 from Maidstone Audi on Sunday morning (can't wait!!) - ordered it in May. Found the sales guy really accommodating, spared me all the cr@p and bettered the Broadspeed deal without too much persuasion. I did the honourable thing and went back to Broadspeed but although they were really helpful they couldn't match the Audi deal - so order placed with Audi Maidstone. As above sales guy really looked after me - knowledgeable and knew his stuff.
My car was delivered to Maidstone last week, so tortured myself by going to see it, got speaking to the sales guy - he reckoned an order now would not be delivered to late spring 2014... He said there had been a surge in RS car orders - not sure why the surge, but the upshot was they wouldn't be so keen to discount. Probably been helped by BMW ending M3 production??? Perhaps???
I had no part ex, went on the PCP deal (was the best option by far) - I spec'd a reasonable amount of options (£5.5 - £6k) - did the deal at circa £8k discount, this was better than anything Broadspeed could do at the time.
As above this was a May order so obviously things within Audi may have changed since then - so discounts may not be as easy to come by. Worth also mentioning my car had already been ordered by Audi when I ordered it but I was able to change spec to suit my preferences.

Re: Low balloon value on finance
Andrew, firstly congratulations, I bet you cant wait.
They seemed very good with me, being quoted early 2014 and about £6600 discount on the car with a few options. I'm sure I will be able to get a better deal after Sept 1st. Now is not the right time to be deal hunting.
