It worked!!!

Here are a few iphone snaps of the new Picked her up from Robinsons Norwich, brand spanker, ordered it in Feb. Got to say, they look better in the flesh than in the pictures. i'm already preferring the looks over my old B7 RS4, that should rustle a few feathers

I'm the same. On the whole, I loved the look of my old B7 avant from most angles, but my B8 makes it look and feel so dated. Very different cars to look at as well as drive though
I think I prefer the sound of my old B7 though even with the sports exhaust I have on my B8. B7 was more NASCAR, where B8 is more mechanical scream

I agree on the exhaust note of the B8. I also have the sports option and fail to notice any aggressiveness in the tone unless giving it the beans. The B7 had that deep grumble and if the sport button was applied it sounded noticeably meaner, even from inside the car.
I have set the B8 up in Individual with most settings in Auto apart from engine noise which is in Dynamic and it's not load enough.
I will try other set ups but have only done a couple hundred miles so far as I work away Mon-Fri. Itching to get back to it this weekend.

Yeah, B7 was a very noticeable difference on pressing the sport button

Did you notice that when starting in individual with engine set to dynamic, the exhaust will start closed and you'll need to pop it in and out of S by pulling back on the stick to wake the exhaust up

Ah, but that then puts your gearbox into S which makes smooth progress difficult
Others might prefer it, but for general driving I like exhaust open but box in D
